Halloween 2026 falls on a Saturday, so the final weekend will sell out. Venues outside the city (Vaughan, Markham, Milton) are marked. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.

Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland

The biggest scare night in the GTA by sheer volume: six haunted mazes (Cornstalkers, Dark Ride, Demons of the Deep, Spirit Manor, The Crypt, The Ruins) and seven scare zones across the park, from 6 PM on select nights until Nov 1. The catch is the stacking: park admission, then a Haunted Attractions Pass from $10 for the mazes, and The Conjuring: Beyond Fear is a separate ticket again. Not recommended under 13.

Legends of Horror at Casa Loma

Celebrating its tenth year, this is a self-guided walk of about 2 km that takes more than an hour: through the castle gardens, the tunnel and into the stables, with live actors, projections and effects. The setting does half the work. Family Hours run 5-6:30 PM on listed weekends with no live actors. Tickets were listed at $45-55 online ($50-60 at the door), rising for the late-October dates.

Screemers

Screemers is a dedicated haunt, not a theme park add-on, and the price covers more: seven haunted mazes, unlimited rides on the Midway of Madness, walk-around performers, food trucks and the Vampire Lounge. New for 2026 is Disassembly Park. Listed prices are $44.95 weeknights, $49.95 Fri-Sun and $54.95 on the Halloweekend dates (Oct 23-25 and 30-31), plus HST. Its site does not publish a full nightly calendar in text, so check before driving up.

Martino Manor

A walkthrough haunted house in Etobicoke that bills itself as Toronto's scariest, and it means it: eight areas, intense scares, gore and nudity warnings, and no recommendation for anyone under 13. The whole thing takes about 20 minutes, so treat it as a short, sharp hit rather than a night out. Its 2026 season is on (the site has a New for 2026 section) but the calendar and prices are posted as an image; check the site before you go.

Halloween on Church Street

Toronto's big street party, centred on Church and Maitland in the Church-Wellesley Village. For 2026 it runs over two nights: Friday Oct 30 from 8 PM to midnight and Saturday Oct 31 from 5 PM to midnight, with the Witches' Brew Beer Garden and a mega stage show. The costumes are the event. The official site lists no admission price; the beer garden is 19+ with government photo ID.

Toronto's Haunted Harbour cruise (Haunted Walk)

The Haunted Walk's boat tour: 90 minutes on Lake Ontario with ghost stories from the city's waterfront, running Sept 12 to Nov 1, 2026. Listed at $55 general admission, $45 youth (8-14), $35 for ages 4-7 and $5 for 3 and under, which makes it one of the few spooky options you can take a mixed-age group on. It is storytelling, not jump scares, and it is cold on the water at night.

Haunted Walk ghost tours (Distillery, Black Creek, Brick Works, U of T)

For people who like their Halloween as history. The Haunted Walk runs 75-minute lantern-lit tours through the Distillery District, the Village at Black Creek, the Don Valley at Evergreen Brick Works and the University of Toronto, with dates through October 2026. Adults are $32.99 and youth (14 and under) $24.99 on most routes; Black Creek is $34.99 and is not recommended for young children.

Alone in the Dark investigations (Black Creek and Elgin & Winter Garden)

A two-hour ghost investigation for small groups, not a performance: you go into a historic building at night with the lights off. In 2026 it runs at the Village at Black Creek and, on Oct 31, at the Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres; the Stanley Barracks run had sold out when checked. $67.99 per person. Haunted Walk lists it as 16+, while the Black Creek page says 18+, so check your date.

Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville at CF Sherway Gardens

A Halloween light show in the Sherway Gardens lot with a Pumpkinville fair alongside, running Sept 25 to Nov 1, 2026. It is pumpkins and lights, not scares, which makes it one of the easier wins for families with small kids in the west end. The official site confirms the dates; ticket prices are on its ticketing page, not on the homepage, so check there.

Pumpkins After Dark (Markham Museum and Country Heritage Park, Milton)

More than 10,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns set out along a night-time trail. Two sites near Toronto: Markham Museum (Oct 2 - Oct 31) and Country Heritage Park in Milton (Sept 26 - Oct 31). Tickets are time-slotted, so you are not shoulder to shoulder. Note that its site shows those dates without a year next to them, under a 2026 copyright, and lists prices on each location page.

Boo at the Zoo, Toronto Zoo

The cheapest Halloween day out on this list for families. On Saturday Oct 24, Sunday Oct 25 and Saturday Oct 31, kids 12 and under in costume get 50% off admission with a regular adult ticket (code 50boo, per the zoo's events page). The zoo's posted hours are 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, so it suits kids who are too young for evening events. Glow in the Wild, a separate evening ticket, also runs this season.

Tricks and Treats at Canada's Wonderland

The daytime, kid-sized version of Haunt, 11 AM to 5 PM on select days from Sept 26 to Nov 1. Kids under 10 can wear costumes before 6 PM, and the park adds Monster Perk Days (Oct 12, 15, 22, 29 and Nov 1). It is ranked last only because it needs full park admission and a trip to Vaughan, but if you have kids under 10 who want Halloween without nightmares, this is it.
