How do I apply?+
Hit the activity threshold first — 5 public lists and 1,000 total views. Once you qualify, the monetization tab in your dashboard unlocks an "Apply to activate" button.
When do I get paid?+
Payouts run monthly on the 1st. You need a balance of at least $25.00 — anything under rolls over. We pay via Stripe Connect Express; link your account once from the Earnings tab.
What is Creator Plus?+
A $5/month add-on: boosted list placement (3 active boosts), priority discovery, and WooCommerce import. Stacks on any plan. You can also earn it free by staying active (5,000 points, 10 lists, 30-day streak, 1,000 votes). Separate from creator monetization (earning from placements), which unlocks at 5 lists + 1,000 views.
Is this affiliate marketing?+
It overlaps but isn't the same. We pay per click + conversion, every placement is labeled, and the brand ↔ creator relationship is transparent — no hidden networks.
Can I reject a brand I don't like?+
Always. You control every placement. Auto-matched a brand you don't want? Remove it in one click. We never force a placement.
Do I have to label sponsored placements?+
Yes, always — a visible "sponsored" tag on every paid placement. It's required by FTC rules and keeps your audience's trust.
Will this hurt my list's rankings?+
No. Paid placements never influence the ranking algorithm. Featured slots sit outside the rank order and are clearly labeled.
Can I be a creator without monetizing?+
Absolutely. Monetization is 100% opt-in. Publish forever without ever applying — your lists won't be treated differently.
