The most capable no-code builder for real web apps with logic, databases and user accounts, and now native mobile builds too. Plans run Free (development only, 50K workload units), Starter US$59 a month billed annually (175K units), Growth US$209 and Team US$549. The catch is workload units: every search and workflow consumes them, so a busy app's bill is hard to predict, and you cannot export your app's code.

Webflow

The professional's visual website builder. It writes clean HTML and CSS from a designer-style canvas, has a structured CMS for blogs and directories, rich interactions and animations, and managed hosting. It is what agencies use when a site has to look custom and stay editable by marketing. It expects you to understand the box model and layout, and site plus workspace plans add up. (Pricing page could not be loaded when checked.)

Framer

The fastest way from design to a live, good-looking website. You design on a canvas that feels like a design tool, and Framer publishes it with hosting, a CMS and animation built in. Basic is US$10 a month (30 pages, 1,000 CMS items, 50 GB bandwidth) and Pro US$30 (150 pages, 2,500 items, 100 GB), with paid add-ons beyond. Limits are tight for content-heavy sites, and it is for websites, not apps.

Airtable

The spreadsheet that became a database, and the backbone of thousands of no-code stacks. Relational tables, views (grid, kanban, calendar, gallery), forms, interfaces and automations, with a big integration catalogue. Team is US$20 per user a month billed annually and Business US$45. Only users with edit permission are charged; read-only collaborators and form submissions are free. Per-seat pricing gets expensive for large teams.

FlutterFlow

The no-code builder for people who might hire developers later. It builds native mobile and web apps visually on Google's Flutter, and paid plans let you download the real Flutter source code and APKs and deploy to the app stores in one click. Basic is US$39 a month, Growth US$80 for the first seat (US$55 for the second) with GitHub integration, and Business US$150. Annual billing saves about 25 percent.

Glide

The quickest way to turn a spreadsheet into a working internal app. Glide builds clean mobile-friendly apps on top of your data, with workflows and AI features, and they look professional with almost no design effort. Basic is US$25 a month (2 published apps, 100 credits), Plus US$50 and Pro US$125. The free plan cannot publish apps. Customization is deliberately limited, which is the price of the speed.

Softr

Softr builds client portals, member directories and internal tools on top of data you already have, such as Airtable or Google Sheets, with user logins and permissions handled for you. It is the fastest route to a portal where each customer sees only their own records. You stay inside Softr's blocks and layouts, and complex logic is not its strength. (The pricing page did not show plan prices when checked; it advertises a free start.)

Zapier

The automation tool with the most app integrations and the gentlest learning curve. Free covers 100 tasks a month; Professional starts at US$19.99 a month billed annually (US$29.99 monthly) for 750 tasks, and Team starts at US$69 a month annually for 2,000 tasks. Every action step counts as a task, so multi-step workflows burn through allowances quickly, and high volumes get expensive fast compared with Make or n8n.

n8n

The automation platform developers like, because you can self-host it and it counts whole workflow executions rather than individual steps. Cloud Starter is about EUR 20 a month (annual) for 2,500 executions with unlimited steps, and Pro EUR 50 for 10,000. A standard self-hosted version is published on GitHub. It has strong AI-agent and code nodes. It is less friendly than Zapier, and self-hosting means you run the server.

Make

A visual automation builder that sits between Zapier and n8n. You draw scenarios as a flow chart with routers, iterators and error handlers, which makes complex branching easier to see than in Zapier. The free plan includes 1,000 credits a month, and extra credits are sold in bundles of 1,000 or 10,000. A start-up plan gives organizations under 20 employees 50 percent off Business. Paid plan prices were not shown on the page when checked.

Lovable

The AI app builder: describe what you want in plain language and it generates a working web app, then you iterate by chatting. It suits prototypes and simple products where speed matters more than control. The free plan gives 5 build credits a day (up to 30 a month) plus 20 Cloud credits a month; Pro and Business add more credits. Generated apps still need someone to review security and data handling before real users arrive.
