Crazy Mouse

A spinning 'wild mouse'-style coaster — sharp hairpin turns plus cars that spin on their own axis. A long-running Stampede favourite that's fun for the whole family.

Drop of Doom (drop tower)

Hauls you up a few hundred feet, then drops without warning — the sudden free-fall is the whole point. Locals say going before 1 p.m. gets you a shorter line. A returning thrill staple; confirm in the 2026 lineup closer to the event.

Star Dancer

A high-energy aerial spin ride that lifts and rotates riders for a swooping, dance-like motion. Confirmed on the official 2026 Stampede Midway page.

Polar Express

A fast, music-pumping ride that whips you around — and famously runs fast backwards, a twist that makes it a thrill-seeker favourite. Confirmed on the official 2026 Stampede Midway page.

3 pros · 2 cons

1001 Nights (swinging pirate ship)

A pendulum-style swinging ship that rocks back and forth. A good 'break-yourself-in' thrill — great for people wary of heights or being strapped in at altitude.

3 pros · 2 cons

Super Wheel (giant Ferris wheel)

The towering Ferris wheel — breathtaking views from the top above the Midway. Local tip: ride just before sunset for the best view of Stampede Park. Confirmed on the official 2026 Midway page.

WestJet Sky Ride

The aerial gondola/sky tram that carries you across the grounds — one of the best ways to take in the nightly fireworks. Confirmed on the official 2026 Midway page.

The Great FUNtier (kids' midway)

A dedicated children's area with specialty kids' rides and a mini Midway where little ones can try games. The right call for families with young children.
